My daughter performed in the 7th & 8th Grade Choral Concert at the Middleton High School Performing Arts Center. Wow, what an event! I went as Chaperon when they went on a quick tour of the elementary schools, but tonight’s performance was so much more.
There were some solos that just blew me (us! – all the parents, family & friends) away!
One of the girls sang KT Tunstall’s Suddenly I See and was totally awesome!
Then one of the 7th Grade boys, so that would be 13 years old, Sang Chris Brown’s With You and absolutely NAILED it. The 7th Grade girls (and probably the 8th Grade girls, too) went absolutely WILD! I’m sitting there thinking give that kid four more years and he’ll be the next David Archuleta!
Kudos to the Choir teacher. Under her guidance, a lot of these kids are developing magnificent talent!
